YOU ASKED FOR IT CAMBRIDGE... AND IT'S HAPPENING!
Date: Saturday, September 1st, 2007
Place: Lots 21 & 22 of Bansbury Place.
(right across from Connector)
Time: Festivities will be starting @
2:00 pm, but the cooking will be
starting around 12:00 pm.
We're going to have BBQ Chicken, and Ribs, Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Sausage Dogs, Potatoe Salad, Chips, Baked Beans and Mac & Cheese.
Water & Gator aid will be available.
Horse Shoes, Volley Ball, Card Games, Basket Ball Shoot Out, and a WATER SLIDE!!!!!
We'll have Karaoke and Hip Hop Music.
If you want to participate, you just need to contact our coordinator for this event, your own Neighborhood Watch Captain, Samuel Walker, Jr. and he'll give you tickets for the number of members in your household. You can reach Sam @ 706-550-0615.
If you don't have a ticket, you won't be able to join the festivities. This is to make sure that those who are enjoying the Block Party are the Cambridge Residents.
You are encouraged to bring your lawn chairs, overhead cover and a hearty appetite. Don't forget to bring your towels too!
And yes... we need more volunteers, to help with the cooking on the grill, helping with the games, etc. You can sign up by contacting Samuel at the number above.
