Weeds in the Calming Circles

A Fresh Cutts sighting!!

Scott,

I am probably just as frustrated as you are. I'm glad there are a few people that have spoken up in our community. I sent an email to the HOA email address on July 4, then two weeks later I sent another email and cc'ed Adrea Green. I did not get a response to either of these messages. In that time frame I spoke via email with Darryl Reese and he said that he would pass my email on to both Andrea and Karen. I have called the HOA phone # twice in the past 2 or 3 weeks (I lost count) inquiring about the open space behing my house. All of these emails and phone calls have all gone unreturned.

I was off today and actually saw Fresh Cutts a few houses down mowing the open space. They then stopped mowing and drove away. I actually chased them down the street and caught up with them as they were mowing the open area next to your house. I asked why they had only mowed behind two homes and then stopped. I was told that they would be coming back behind all of the houses in a little while. They eventually did, but I don't know if this was because I had to ask them or if it actually was their plan. Either way, I know for sure that nothing has been mowed for at least 1 month and I have pictures of weeds 2' high.

I spoke to someone from the county today and will be speaking with someone else in greater detail. I have also called the Board's phone # again today. I'm hoping to get a response.

One month between cuttings

It was exactly one month between the cuttings by my house. Its ashame because we are going after home owners for deed restrictions and the common grounds aren't meeting the guidelines. Good luck on getting a response. By the way I watched them cut the common behind my house and they usually stop after the house next to mine but I think because I was out there and make my presence known they cut all the way down towards bayview I.
Reply to Fresh Cuts / Deed Restr

You are absolutly right. We can't get the contractor to cut the grass on a regular scheduled time frame and the circles and the common grounds look terrible. Not to mention the trees that Nichols is suppose to replace that has not happened yet. But the letter that we all got in the mail is stating that there has been a lawyer retained and letters are going to go out to the ones in the community that are in violation of the deed restrictions but the circles and the common area's are not kept to the deed restiction requirements. What is up with that. Double standard don't you think. What happened to amending the deed restrictions first and then the community voting on them? Wouldn't that make a little more sense and then send out letters of violations?
