Our Neighborhood

Cambridge Square Condominium Association is located between downtown Denver and the Denver Tech Center. Our association is comprised of wonderful residential condominiums.

We are within easy walking distance to countless shopping opportunities, several movie theaters, and superb dining experiences. One of the largest movie theaters in Colorado, the UA Continental 6, is ¼ mile from Cambridge Square. The flagship auditorium with its 3 ½ story tall screen and massive seating capacity attracts moviegoers from all over Colorado. We are also less than a mile from the Tamarac Square Mall which is home to over forty stores and restaurants in a European-style shopping venue.

Roughly half of our neighbors are married and about 12% of the homes have children. Southmoor Elementary School is just up the street. The school has been totally remodeled, which has ensured a wonderful atmosphere for learning. Our neighborhood students enjoy walking to school along the tree-lined streets.

Southmoor’s CSAP scores are excellent! 87% of students scored at the proficient or advanced levels in reading, 88% in math, and 78% in writing. Southmoor has a very strong parent and community support system. The partnership between home and school is encouraged and valued. The CSC (Collaborative School Committee), SPiE (Southmoor Partners in Excellence) and PTA (Parent Teacher Association) have worked together to provide many extensions to the regular curriculum.

Cambridge Square neighbors have a great love of the outdoors. Neighborhood parks (Southmoor Park, Eastmoor Park, and Rosamund Park) are all within easy walking distance of the Cambridge Square Condominiums and allow us to take pleasure in the three hundred days of annual sunshine and moderate temperatures throughout the year.

Eastmoor Park is a 14-acre park consisting of turf grass parkland and a small bermed native area along I-25. The park has a park trail, three table shelter areas for picnics, new playground and a drinking fountain. Open area is currently permitted as well as two soccer fields. Eastmoor Park is located at S. Monaco Pkwy, & E. Princeton Ave..

Southmoor Park is a 17.5 acre, fully developed park that consists of a park trail, two un-skinned softball fields, two soccer fields, picnic shelter area, new playground and a basketball court. The park has a drinking fountain located near the picnic shelter and playground. Porta potties are placed during the summer months. Southmoor Park is located just south of Hampden Ave. at Pontiac Street.

Rosamond Park is a 38-acre fully developed turf grass park. The park features park trails, two un-skinned softball fields, two soccer fields, two football fields, four tennis courts, playground, basketball court, drinking fountain, and flower beds. Goldsmith Gulch also runs through the park which presents dramatic views. Rosamond Park is located at Tamarac St. & E. Quincy Ave.

Less than three miles away is Cherry Creek Lake which boasts 8 miles of shoreline and is open year round. It is a great place for boating, fishing, water skiing, and swimming. The breathtaking Rocky Mountains are nearby and in about an hour we can reach locations for skiing, fly fishing, hiking or whitewater rafting
