Like you, I am a resident of Oregon City. I am very concerned about the future of our fire service in Oregon City. I am a local professional fire fighter and would like to help our residents see the whole picture. Annexation if done right is the right solution. However, keep in mind the city is planning to annex with a department that costs $2.40 per thousand. Why is it that citizens in West Linn who contracted with TVFR are only charged $1.89 per thousand.
