In the past 4 days, there have been 3 car break-ins (separate occasions) and those are only the ones I saw the aftermath of and whose cars had not been moved by the owners.  ...  Where is the HOA involvement?  No notifications have gone out to us!  no flyers!  NOTHING warning us. 

I spoke to several neighbors and none had realized that some of these break-ins were just a few houses away. In fact in my case it was the next street over for all three cars!

The thing that infuriates me is that the HOA website does not even have a new meeting planned that we as neighbors can discuss our safety and property concerns.  No mentioning of any of these break-ins either!!!

Afterthought:  I had reported a street light having been out and explained my concerns about the break-ins (past spree) as it was the ONLY light on my block.  It took the HOA nearly 40 days to change that light bulb and I was treated like a nuissance or worse for checking back weekly and asking for their action on the matter. This incidence and the lack of notification this time around of the crime spree is indicating that clearly we need to take our safety into our own hands.  I am inviting us all to take up a neighborhood watch program.  And will ask for this to be placed on the agenda (if a new meeting is ever being hosted again by the HOA).
