TDI for Caregivers

SENATE COMMITTEE ON LABOR is holding a hearing on Bill no. 231 listed below.  It will allow parents, spouses, domestic partners and adult children who are caregivers to utilize TDI benefits when caring for family members listed below with a serious illness.  This will help a lot of families who struggle during times of illness or recovery from surgery and other chronic illness to have access to TDI as well as job protection. 

 

We need a strong voice of parents and caregivers to support this legislation for passage.  We ask that you call you representative which you can find contact information on    www.ri.state.us   ,forward a letter of support for submission to the committee, or testimony at the hearing.  Any letters of support can be forwarded electronically to spears@ripin.org or townsend@ripin.org or send directly to the general assembly at 82 Smith St Providence RI 02903 Attn: Gayle Goldin Re: S231.  Providence RI 02903
