Is Recycling Important To You? Do you want to see the Casitas continue using the blue bins? Do you use them? Do you understand what can and cannot be recycled in the program? Are the blue bins an eyesore to you?

I think it is important.But the bins fill up so quickly that I have to resort to using the regular bins instead.If they would be emptied more often it would make a big difference.

I enjoy recycling and believe that is a good thing, but EVERY time I walk all the way over there to empty my bin...all 3 of the containers are beyond FULL! If people are concerned that it is an eyesore b/c they are full, can we get them to empty the bins more often?

There are two multi-family complexes that have these large bins for 'bulk' recycling. I have checked with the city about an additional pickup day and was told that it would set precedent and the other complex and any others that might sign on would also want additional pickups.
I have seen a person pull up to the bins & put recyclables in and back up and drive out of the complex leaving me to think that he thought the complex a dumpsite for the city. This fills the bins and those of us that live here then have no place to put our recyclables.
Am still working with the city on this and the association board is considering having the bins removed.
