Just FYI to residents that have read or heard about the Trap/Neuter/Return program done through AZCats.
The purpose of the program is not to kill off a cat colony, it is meant for us to actually participate in helping feral animals, thereby making our lives easier by keeping the population down. It is required that you promise to feed outdoors the neutered animal once it is returned. These cats are ear tipped so that catchers will know these animals are not at risk. And, in living in the community I have witnessed first hand where the problem is coming from. There is a resident who lives near the back of the complex several units south of the back pool area I believe who has a black and white male cat with a collar that has NOT been fixed, is let to roam around and impregnate stray female cats. If you are going to take the time to adopt an animal and give it a home, please do so responsibly.
