Castlegate Community

Hello all,

At the last HOA meeting it was brought up about the ever growing weed problem. I know you all are thinking, JERK, quit talking about weeds!! I know I am tired of hearing and reading about it myself!!!!  Well it was brought up that WE as a community get together and help clean up some of the problem homes! As stated in other posts, the HOA is working the issue, but the cost would be $200-400 a house. With all the homes that are vacant the amount of money would not be worht it!

Look, we all live here and MOST  of us care about how our neighborhood looks. MOST pay our HOA fees and don't complain much. For those of you who do, you complain but do not offer any suggestions on how to fix a problem. Well here is a fix. (Mind you this was brought up at the HOA meeting, not my idea! Nobody else will work it!!!!) Let's get together on a weekend, and clean up the mess. We can organizee this fairly quickkly and even get to know each other a bit.

Lets discuss a weekend, get the HOA to get a roll off dumpster, grab our work gloves, rakes, shovels and trimmers and clean up the empty homes. Get a couple of grills and cook some burgers and have some fun after.

If you ttruely care about Castlegate and want it clean, lets work together and clean it up! Who knows, you may meet some fun and interesting people.

I'm definatly up for cleaning up the yards. Just let me know when. I'm even up for cleaning up the mess on Sierra vista and at the end of Ocotillo.

Where are all the complainers at now? An idea is posted and nobody wants to jump onboard and help clean up OUR community?

Hey HOA Board,

Can we get a roll off dumpster? Can we get some help with promoting this?? I am tired of going to these meetings and being dominated by the weed problem and nobody wants to help!!!!!

This will be my last attempt at helping out this community! If nobody wants to help then I DON'T  want to hear another bitch about weeds!!!

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for the HOA. There are weed infested areas North of Casttlegate Blvd between Camden & Simington between the street and the walls. And we pay $20,000 a month to the landscapers.
