Dead line is coming to place your name on the ballot for the upcoming election.  I hope one of the Schaefers name will be on the ballot along with Chad (Roughneck), not our current President.  I encourage anyone that feels like me, that a change is needed to run for a position this election.

Castlegate - is it known yet on how the ballots will be collected and processed?  Are we having 5th and 6th graders count the ballots? 

If Oasis will be collecting the ballots, these will then be turned over in UNOPENED envelops, correct?  Odd thing about this, Oasis will need to give who ever counts the ballots a list of entitled members ... hmmm now I remember someone else asking for this list, oh yes it was ME.  But I was told that it could not be turned over to me because I would then know who was current on their HOA dues and who was not.  This would be considered Financial information and by LAW they can not turn this over.  So how will the ballots be counted without this list?

I havn't heard any further on this.  As of now, Oasis will be taking care of the counting.  I will send an email out and see if there is an update yet on the school counting.

If Oasis is doing the counting, I feel this is VERY wrong.  As I stated at the last meeting held many HOA's are having third party groups verify and count the ballors for their elections. 

The student council at Simonton is going to count the ballots.  Oasis just needs to make sure they send them "valid" ballots.
