Castlegate Community

Just wondering if there is a slight temperature drop out in the castlegate area seeing as beyond ocotillo it's just fields and not as much development in comparision to other parts of the valley.

Not anything significant no.  Our temps tend to be the same as Gilbert, Mesa, and the rest of the East Valley areas.  It's not as farm like as you may think, even with the farms there's still A LOT of housing subdivisions and other small things building up.

I had a friend in apache junction and I noticed her area was always cooler at night than where I lived in Mesa.. I felt a big difference. So not sure if it was the same out there at night ;-)

Nope, we've gone out to functions, dinner, etc in Mesa, Gilbert, etc and it's not any noticable difference when we get home either warmer or cooler.  Maybe 1-2 degrees, but nothing signifcant IMO.  (many parts of AJ are MUCH more rural than we are in QC now).
