Could be that the vandals that came to our house last night were seen by witnesses and cameras. I will wait until after Christmas as not to escalate anything during the holidays, but if this happens again by the same culprits..... I will be calling the police. Why wait?  Odds are, this was not the first time they have done this.  Please report them. 

I agree.  Holidays or not absolutely report them.  They made their own decisions, now they can deal with the consequences of those decisions.

I also agree that you should report this to the police, the more they get informed of things like this the more they can do to help prevent it in the future. Some times if you put a good scare into a youngster they will think twice before doing it again, vandalism in our neighborhood will not be tolerated and that's the message we should send!
