Set upon the northeastern “hill” of Abilene, Texas, the Cedar Creek Neighborhood sprouted during the 1930s as Abilene Christian College moved from downtown to the historic Hashknife Ranch. Since the early days in the country outskirts of Abilene, Cedar Creek has grown to include over a thousand households within its boundaries of Treadaway Blvd, Ambler Blvd, Judge Ely Blvd, and EN 10th Street.
Our residents represent Abilene’s best. Longtime residents have lived here for several decades— some since the beginning. Young families and professionals are raising children where several generations have been raised. And, thanks to our neighbor ACU and other local institutions, we have numerous college students, military personnel and young people beginning the adventure of life on their own.
Cedar Creek is proud to be home to many great people striving to live together in a caring community.
The Cedar Creek Neighborhood Association (CCNA) was formed in June 2003 to help make our community and neighborhood a better place.
CCNA meets on the second Tuesday of each month in the University Church of Christ Family Room at 7:00 p.m. All meetings are open to the public.
The Cedar Creek Neighborhood Association was founded on June 16, 2003. It has since grown into an active, Abilene neighborhood association. We work closely with our local schools and university, our city staff and council, as well as our residents to make our neighborhood and community a better place.
CCNA meets on the Second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the University Church of Christ Family Room.
All Cedar Creek residents and the public is invited to join us for our meetings. We always have a good snack and fellowship. Often we discussed pressing issues or have guest speakers about ways to improve our quality of life.
