I know we need to alert each other to the bad things going on in the neighborhood, but we should also report the positive things that are going on. There is way too much ''FEAR Factor'' going on in the news.
I have noticed the police are patroling a lot more. I still enjoy my walks around the neighborhood. There are some really nice yards and gardens. Thank goodness for the rain! My garden was parched when I returned from the beach.

Positive feed back
I feel really good about the Neighborhood watch program. I walked the Redmann Rd. Area of our neighborhood and feel awesome about the responses I recieved. Everyone wants to start the watch. I hope everyone will make it to the meeting we schedule later in the month. Meanwhile lets turn on our lights on August 1st. Everyone sit out in the front yard and lets see who we meet.
Thanks!

Natioan Night Out

National Night Out
Hi Everyone,
Cedars East is celebrating it's first National Night Out. This is very positive for our neighborhood! We will begin developing our relationship with the Police Department, it's Officers and City Council. We can assure them that we are willing to support them and help them in our endeavor to bring safety and have a crime free neighborhood.
The events for our first night in the National Night Out program are very simple. TURN ON YOUR OUTSIDE LIGHTS! Let's light up our neighborhood.
Pull your lawn chairs out and meet your neighbors.
Walk with us down Reddman Rd with your flash lights at Dusk!
We hope all of you will support this event, we believe that we can change this area and stop crime!
Thanks,
Susan Wyatt. May Winiarski
and your Neighbors
