The CentrePointe Neighborhood Association has about 1100 single family homes within our boundaries. We are a voluntary association with annual dues of $10.00 per household.
The CentrePointe Neighborhood Association communicates our concerns to City officials. We are very active in the Neighborhood Referral Process. This program, started by the Aurora Planning Department, notifies Neighborhood Associations of new development within a 1 mile radius of our boundaries. Recently, we provided input on the following proposals:
-Tollgate Villas Townhomes on vacant lot across from Tollgate Elementary School
-Krispy Kreme at Mississippi & Chambers
-Aurora Town Center on the northwest corner of Alameda and Sable
-Master Plan for the new Aurora Municipal Building at the northwest corner of Alameda and Chambers
-Good Times Burgers and Custard at the southeast corner of Misissippi and Buckley Road
-Sonic Drive-in on Abilene St. between Home Depot and Fazoli's
Although the Planning Commission and City Council might not agree with our position, we at least are given an opportunity to voice our opinion.
