A few highlights from Charleston Harbor Homeowners’ Association Covenants and Restrictions

 

  • No exterior radio or television antenna or satellite dished that are visible. 18” or smaller dishes permitted, should be place toward back of residences. Current Dish Network acceptable
  • No animal, livestock or poultry shall be bred, raised or kept. Unleashed pets should be kept in residences or enclosed areas. No dog runs or external impoundments.
  • All rubbish , trash, garbage and debris shall be kept in a manner as to not be externally visible, except when but out of pick up.
  • Landscaping is subject to approval of the CHHA Landscaping Committee.
  • Fences are to be no greater than 5 feet in height and must be approved by Architectural Committee.
  • No trees planted between sidewalk and curb,
  • No above ground pools.
  • Improvements in structure and paint color must be approved by Architectural Committee.
  • No trailers, trucks, house trailer, boats, boat trailers, water craft trailers, mobile homes, motorbikes, camper, camper shells, or removable buildings may be kept externally visible.
  • Laundry, bedding, etc. may not be hung to dry if externally visible.
  • Maintenance of common areas is the responsible of the Board
  • Violations of the Covenants are subject to fines by the board.
  • Failure to pay homeowners dues or fines can result in liens against property.
