Easte Meck Traffic

Parents line up in our neighborhood to pick up their kids or drop them off ..the kids who drive are speeding in our neighborhood. The city says we are a public street and can do nothing to stop any of this traffic. Does anyone have any ideas as to how to stop the ''race way'' in ParkView East ?
It is hard to get out on Eaglewood to get to work. Many school children walk our street or get off bus ,are they safe with the ''race way '' ?
