Chesterfield

Anyone in Chesterfield community know who and how to contact someone to complain about a neighbors all day and all night music thats loud and can be heard while I sit in my home. I'm on Marble Arch Dr.  Already called the police twice!!  Doesn't stop!! Please help

Not much to do about it during the daytime, but night is a different story. Here is the ordinance

Current County law is intended to protect residential districts by prohibiting, at all times, the use or operation of amplified musical instruments, radios, tape players and similar sound devices at an unreasonably loud volume. The law also prohibits the use of a musical instrument, machine, tool or other similar device at an unreasonable volume between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

The police are inclined to do as little as possible, no offense to them, they have a lot to deal with, sometimes the paperwork keeps them from pursuing issues to the fullest. If for whatever reason you are unable to work it out with the neighbor, Keep calling the police, get the badge number of the officer that responds, ask for his Seargents (Supervisor's) name and number, and follow up the next day with a call to the station. 

No one should help you you should help your self mabe nocking on the door and asking some one nicely if they could turn their music down like normal person

I have just the opposite problem.  Every time I sit on my deck out back and make the LEAST little bit of noise .... the neighbor BEHIND ME calls the police!  Oh and they also have a camera pointing at my house 24/7.  They have nothing better to do than watch my house and complain.  It's ridiculous.  Oh and they are not "normal" so that doesn't apply LOL ...
