This is no joke... This is VERY  important!!!
 
Don't eat those!
 
The little chocolate  coins are not safe for kids to eat this Halloween.  They are made in  China and contain the Melamine that children's deaths were related to  recently.
 
With Halloween is here, pass this on to your family and  friends.
 
Sherwood's Milk Chocolate Pirate's Gold Coins from China  contain melamine.

Good warning for the Canadians, eh.  Note that at the bottom of the Snopes page it says:

Sherwood Brands says that the lots of Pirate's Gold chocolate coins which may have contained melamine were vended only in Canada, that none of those confections reached the U.S.

... so I think ya'll in NC can rest easy!
