I have been looking as well for daycare/babysitters for the upcoming school year. Have you been looking at state site, dfps.state.tx.us?  Lottsa great (and lottsa scary) info.

My Wife & I have our 20 month old son enrolled in a very good daycare in Euless. It's called Guardian Angel and is off of Euless-Main north of Pipeline. I admit it's about 15 - 20mins away, but the price is reasonable and the staff takes really good care of all the children they watch. Their website is guardianangelpreschool.com. Our son had an at home daycare from 2 months old until he was 1 year old. It was ok, but we sometimes felt she was running a daycare just for the money, not because she loved taking care of children. At Guardian Angel the staff is always very friendly and seems to love what they do. Our son seems to learn new things almost everyday and he seems to love being there too. As you can see, I highly recommend them. Good luck in your search.

Temple Days Daycare is great!  There are alot of families in the neighborhood who use them. They are very well priced and their staff turnover is next to zero.  A friend of ours who also lives in River Trails works for Child Care Licensing and she actually recommended Temple Days to us.  They only have two prices - one price for non-potty trained and another price for potty trained, no matter the age.  I think it is 135 a week for non-potty trained and 110 a week for potty trained kids. If you pay by the month, you get an extra 5% off.  They are at Randol Mill and 820, next to Temple Baptist Church and Temple Christian School, very close to us.  The number is 817-457-5500.
