It's my understanding that KY doesn't require any more than the notification of one's County education district office, and they let you know,,,then that is it. It appears to me that KY is largely paying lip service to homeschoolers. I dunno. I get that impression. Our County's education office is not interested in homeschoolers - they themeselves told me that all they need to do is register what families are homeschooling and that they don't have anyone "keeping an eye on the records". *sigh*

 

But anyway...

Hi, I saw your post and notice it is from 3 years ago.  I am moving to the 23093 zip area  summer of 2016 and was curious if you ever got your homeschool group going.  I have an 8 year old son and am looking for a group.  Please let me know.
