We need our email system back

Plain and simple between notices being posted on the boards at the mail boxes and emailing everyone it would have been known. It seems like a good way to communicate but the BOD has deleted the email list. Still, the majority does not rule around here. Example the pool/recreation committee. Who are these people on this committee? Are they elected or do they volunteer? Are they parents of swim team kids?

Sometimes when something is posted on the boards, if someone doesn?’t like it or agree with it's gone as soon as it is put up! We need acrylic covers that lock up these notices from the CCR BOD (example notice of scuba class) and a lock box for people?’s feedback ie surveys, comments etc.

Would it have mattered anyway if most did not want it? Properly not.
First Batman, Now Aquaman!!??

You people need to try a little decaf once in awhile.
What part of COMMUNITY POOL do you not understand?
That pool is for the ENTIRE community of Circle C. (SEE COLLECTIVE)
It is not ever going to guarantee that you have a lane to swim your laps or a portion just for your toddler to paddle in undisturbed.
It is a community pool, set up to serve the interests of the community.
The swim team serves an interest. Having it periodically available for lap swimming is an interest. Allowing a portion of it to be periodically used for toddlers to paddle around in something other than the kiddie pool serves an interest. Having scuba lessons periodically serves an interest.
Having light poles with weighted pulley systems serves an interest.
If you do not happen to be there when your interest is being served, quit your belllyaching and put a pool in your back yard for goodness sake.
I happen to like the extra light to deter burglaries. If you do not, sell your house and move!! Don't complain and try to force the CCHOA to take them down. That's anarchy, something this website is becoming famous for.
Nobody has to notify you or ask your permission to use the pool for some community interest.
Have you ever been a member of the YMCA. You pay a lot more per year than we do and if you don't show up when that pool is available for what you want to do, TOUGH LUCK!
I don't think I have ever seen a bigger bunch of spoiled crybabies in my life.
And to continue to crucify a COMMUNITY elected board serving in VOLUNTEER positions while they do their level best to serve the interests of the entire COMMUNITY instead of holding the hands of all you whiney babies is appalling.
Batman and Boy wonder have got a great little lynch mob going here.
If I don't get what I want right now, I am calling my lawyer!!
Grow up all of you! Your children are watching you and you should be ashamed.

You are a joker.

Geez Jim, did you buy a home here in Circle C? I still don't see you on Traviscad.

Anyway, the swim team is not part of our community.

It's a profit making business who gets a sweetheart deal, while residents who pay money (NOT YOU) get a tiny part of the pool when the swim team lets us.

You must be brainwashed or maybe your holding your thumb on the end of it too long?

We pay for the majority of the pool, but get to use a fraction of it. Only a mildly retarded person would not be able to understand that. I'll repost a great example from the past.

But, again, you don't have any member votes, so why are you even commenting?

!!PEOPLE MOVING INTO YOUR HOME!!

This is an original post from May 5th 2003 -By This could be your house!
--------------------------
Imagine if some people moved into your house. You could still use it, the 20% at the front end. They will use the other 80% or so.

Lets say your total payments and all the expenses for your house every month was $2,500.00. The people that moved into your house will pay you $250.00 a month for your troubles. They think it's a fair deal.

You still don't like the idea? How about if they were, world class house-sitters and you would get plenty of PR and articles about how great the house-sitters are, does that make any difference?

The Mayor and all the representatives in the city say it's OK. As a matter of fact the Mayor set the deal up some years ago, and he owns part of the business that will pay you $250.00 a month. That's a lot of money, don't spend it all in one place.

What? You don't want these people in your house?

What if I told you they would use your name as well (The ''Smiths'' House-sitting Team - insert your name there). Sure they would make money off dozens of people that would also move in. They bring in some ugly poles in the front of your house, for some special ''house-sitting'' excercises, you know, to keep them world-class.

Oh, yea I forgot, they need to keep it about 10 degrees colder than you like it...in your house.

OK...they will also pay the heating bill in the winter, as long as you don't mind wearing thermals and a parka to bed.

You might be saying, ''I don't want the poles or those people in my house. It's my house!''

Well, then, you might understand how many of us feel about our pool.
