This morning I received the following email from Neighborhood Link. Someone had used my name and assigned me the username and password shown below. Minimally, regardless of your philisophical position, all members should use a modicum of respect for each other and the staff of the Association. Not only is this behavior unethical but it is probably illegal. I can't imagine any one of you would want to start their work day this way.

Apologies for the meanness

Denise-
I am very sorry that someone used
this discussion board for such a cruel
joke on you. (I'm not laughing)

The worst part of distance communication
(such as email or discussion boards)
is the accidental or (in this case)
intentional rudeness.

I hope that change occurs in the CCHOA.
One service that I'd like the CCHOA
to provide is a discussion forum
for neighbors -- but a forum that
forbids anonymous posting. The forum
could be open to anyone in Circle C,
and the name they use would be
their own -- not a misspelling
to hide behind.

Hello Denise!

Hello Denise,

Since you've joined the discussion area, you can easily answer the question many have been asking.

Who and how will the votes be counted?

Thanks for letting everyone know.

No joke !!

I do everything I can to keep this chat space focused on CONSTRUCTIVE efforts to keep Circle C Ranch residents informed and sharing information.

Abuse is not appreciated, however, because this is an anonymous forum, there is little I can or will do to censor messages and comments. However, I really hate email abuse, and I've been getting my share, as well. And I'm not getting paid for what I contribute.

The only practical solution is easy to implement, and I've been making this sugguestion for over two years.

CCHOA needs it's own web site and it needs it's own communication protocols (public chat forums and private email access). Any admin office worth the $35 and hour we pay you would have solved these communications problems, years ago. You failed us, Denise.

The Communications committee has come to the same conclusion, but action is painfully slow to come about in this hamstrung HOA. CCHOA's board of directors and Denise, you in particular, have been most unhelpful in your actions (or lack of action) responding to everything from requests for more handicaped parking spaces, for documenation, to outright failure to even maintain any documentation!

The fact is, your two person office is hired by CCHOA to work 50% for CCHOA and 50% for the Circle C Ranch developers - a direct conflict of interests. It's impossible for you to server the CCHOA interests and the developer interest, when those interests are in conflict, as they are today.

As part of your job, for BOTH parties, you, as well as the BOD, Don Abrams, Don Rojas, Andi Rousch and other cowardly, but silent partners in the CCHOA, read this web site on a regular basis.

You are invited to participate. Don does. He uses an anonymous account, just like you do. Why hide ? Why the secrecy.

What are you afraid of - the truth ?

Hard questions ?

No, your interests are purely partisan and you are not serving the homeowners with your actions. You can't - your hands are tied in the unholy, duplicitous relationship that Full Circle Management holds with our BOD and Gary Bradley interest.

That's actually what's wrong with Circle C Ranch in a nutshell. In the effort to promote a Master Planned community, the management team became corrupted by their power and egos.

Circle C Ranch has changed from the envy of Austin to the laughing stock, because our CCHOA is corrupted by a Republican Political Action Committee and active support Bankrupt, corrupt developer (Gary Bradley) who stole $50 million of Federaly insured loans from, us (Texans and Taxpayers).

The CCHOA arrogance has alienated us from every neighborhood and HOA in Austin. CCHOA stands alone and apart from the rest of the Austin, and our BOD brags about it.

We need new leadership and we need a new administrative staff that is sensitieve and responsive to the CCHOA members, not the 3 kings of mudville!
