Please sign this petition that calls for a special meeting of the CCHOA members. Members that show up at the meeting will vote to change the current governing documents to expand the number of board members we currently have.

We already have over 150 signatures on paper (and growing), we need about 150 more to meet the 10% of members special meeting guidelines of our governing documents.

The main thrust of calling this meeting of the members is to expand our current board of three to a larger number.

What other HOA's have:
ParkWest 100 homes 3 board members
Lake Point 900 homes 7 board members
River Place 1,000 homes 9 board members
Travis Ctry 1,525 homes 9 board members
Circle C? ? ? ?  ? ? ?  2,800 homes

Please log on to the web address below (to sign), and copy and paste this post and email your neighbors! If you've signed the paper version, please email a few neighbors as well.

Thank You!

My 2 cents

Overall, I think our Board has done a good job for the residents of Circle C. I've not agreed with everything they've done. Those poles at the pool have bothered me since the day they went up. But, I thank the board for fighting big boxes, and hope they'll keep fighting, to keep any big box from moving in. We don't need giant stores in or around Circle C. We have a beautiful community, lets keep the scale of our stores in check, and make sure they are not just giant boxed buildings. Our retail stores must have character, to add to what we have. Our neighborhood deserves nothing less.

I think expanding the board is a good thing. For one, expanding our board will stop the constant neighborhood bickering, by eliminating the appearance (or reality) of conflicts of interests. If we can eliminate the appearance of conflicts of interests, we also save money by ending current and future lawsuits. Neighbors should not sue neighbors. While I don't agree with Mr. Gammon suing our HOA, the Board countersuing him is just as wrong and more importantly, a waste of our HOA dollars. I believe in conservative spending of our HOA resource dollars. I'm against raising dues or any other tax. More board members will spread the workload, but most important, it'll give more of our neighbors the feeling that the CCHOA is for all of us.

I'm signing the petition and will be happy to vote for expanding our board to 7 or 9 at the members special meeting.

So. Bay has to be kidding

I hope you understand that the BOD of CCR does not do anything that will not have some kind of financially self-motivated interest, which usually benefits them under the disguise of us homeowner?’s best interest. Considering the fact that the truth came out now that Wal-Mart has agreed to leave & that HEB wants to build across the street on Stratus?’ property. I knew in my gut that it was too good to be true! I could not believe that this board actually gave a crap about the environmental impact of this neighborhood but HOPED they really did. (I am such a chump!) What they gave a crap about is the fact that Steve Bartlett didn?’t want his new sub-division to look bad sitting across from a monster big box and Stratus wanted HEB to build on Stratus land and not compete with Wal-Mart. Do you know that homeowners living in CCR are employees at Status? Did you know that Gary Bradley owns 60% of Streetman homes? It?’s a good old boy network of the BRADLEY BUNCH! Has anyone besides me noticed that the landscaping around here looks like CRAP! My mailbox area has a sinkhole where they pulled up dead shrubs months ago and didn?’t even fill the hole in with dirt! What the hell are they doing with all of our HOA money? WAKE UP! How could you think they are doing a wonderful job? What the hell are they doing except refusing to turn over OUR documents so they can continue to try to hide the truth from us homeowners that they are a bunch of thieves stuffing their OWN POCKETS!

Circle C Landscaping

TOP LINE PRICES FOR BOTTOM LINE SERVICE

Apr 23, 2003

CCHOA Landscape Expenses
2002 - $528,030
2001 - $568,247
2000 - $469,140
1999 - $444,963

Circle C homeowners have been paying the top line prices for the bottom line services.

Our ugly landscape is not caused by the weather; it is caused by the PROFIT. When Susan Hoover's Landscape Company employs low quality workers and provides less frequent services, the bottom line of Susan's Income Statement would be much, much fatter. This is called the ''Net Profit'' problem.
