Anyone think Bartlett will run for one of the new spots?

The original By-Law addr this

This is an excellent question.

I don't think outsiders need to sit on our CCHOA board.

Under the BY-LAW changes offered by the CCHOA by-laws committee, directors would have to be a member to be eligible.

The current BOD and their crafty lawyers removed that line form the ballot that you were offered. They reduced a well written by-law to a lame one liner that didn't really address the fuller details, when expanding the CCHOA board size.

There are, of course, many boards that are made up of non-company or non-member exectutives. There are certainly many businesses where this outside leadership is welcome.

I simply think that Circle Ranch HOA doesn't require outside directors. We have a huge pool of very qualified members who can and SHOULD serve on our board.

Expanding the board will initially add a little overhead, too, but in the end, it will actually distribute the workload and the board can start meeting less often, instead of monthly or secretely.

Don't be surprised....

I certainly wouldn't count this possibility out. Stranger things have happened! If not Bartlett - then perhaps someone else in the same mold???

Interesting

Thoughtful replies, guys; thanks.

I'm quite certain they will float particular candidates who fit their mold; I guess we need to find a way to ferret them out.
