As I understand it, the CCHOA calculates the total number of uncapped votes (by household?), submits this to the Judge, then the election can proceed. We will get to vote, right?

So, the nominated candidates are Steve Bartlett (SB) and Jeff Niemeyer (JN). My preference is for JN; he's a homeowner here, does not seem to have any conflict of interest, and I'm just ready for some new blood on the BOD.

Do others feel this way? Even if JN is not your perfect candidate, isn't he the ''change'' candidate on the ballot?

Does anyone know him - is he still running. Also, I wonder if he has any campaign plans, or if that might even make a difference (i.e. is SB's re-election a sure thing).

about Jeff Niemeyer

Dear Mr. Mike,

Do you know why would the Board let Mr. Niemeyer being nominated? It was because Mr. Niemeyer posts no threat to Mr. Bartlett. In other words, Steve Bartlett will certainly win another term if Mr. Niemeyer is the one running against him. However, it would show how ''democratic'' the Board is by letting someone running against our Vice-president.
