About our association

Our Beginnings

Due to neighborhood concerns about increased burglaries, vandalisms, and other acts of criminal mischeif, some area residents met in June 1992 to discuss interest in starting a neighborhood association for this area. Approximately 200 people attended this initial meeting.

By Fall 1992 Classic Corbin Park Neighborhood Association had been formed and the first newsletter was published.

Purpose

The purpose of our organization was agreed upon to be improving and beautifying the neighborhood, educating members in the prevention of residential crime and vandalism, improving neighborhood and community relationships, and intervening in enforcement of code violations.

Today

We still feel we are fortunate to have such a great interest in our neighborhood. It shows that there is a great deal of concern among our neighbors. This great of an interest can only make our area a better place to live.
