Lack of snow cleanup

I live at 2939 B W81st Ave and the lack of attention to this area was glaring. When I came home at quarter to three on Wednesday the 20th I had to spend 30 min's just to clear my way to my door. I then spent another hour and a half to help my neighbors. The next day the 21st I spent 8 hrs of shoveling with my neighbors Donna, Kim, Scott, and some poor soul who was visiting his girlfriend. About 4 o'clock a couple guys with shovels showed up and were looking for some snow to shovel. When asked they said they work for the landscape company and a plow would be in the area in about an hour. The plow showed up Tuesday.

We have 12 hrs to clear snow in front of our units. During the last four storms it has been myself and neighbors who have done the work. I have kept track of my hours during this period and know that the association owes me for 10 hrs of my labors. I think if the board is silly enough to pay this bill then they should be more then willing to give homeowners a free month of dues.

Shoveling

Their shovelers are not shoveling the sidewalks by streets and around back of units (01?’s along Allen Ditch). I often saw them riding around in trucks doing nothing... Maybe they could not break up the ice, but at least they could try. They piled a lot of snow in front of the parking places blocking the cars. I cleared out my parking space and Christie?’s and removed the snow from the sidewalk so we could get from our cars to the sidewalk. They should remove the snow too, but that would probably cost extra.

Snow ''Removal''

When we hired these people we presumed that we were hiring them to remove snow not plow over piles of ice doing nothing. They were presented as experts in snow removal & should have recommended other methods instead of wasting our cars, time & money on simply making the situation worse. Most reputable companies stand behind ther work. If Green Plan is reputable {???} they should be wllling to adjust their bill for time spent shoveling snow that was already shoveled on sidewalks; they should not charge us for time they spent fruitlessly driving plows over hard ice ridge (sometimes in the middle of the night); the parking lot was virtually impassible until they came out with a bobcat which is not included in this exorbitant bill.
