Illegal Panel Vans

OK, so the minutes from the last meeting indicate commercial vans can't be parked in the neighborhood. Does this mean someone will tell the painters on Waveland they can't park their vehicles in front of the home? The house appears to have 2 families, or more and between the  painting vans out front and the backyard full of supplies and a shed full of paint it feels like we're living in an industrial park.

I wonder if they needed, or pulled, a permit for the recent work they did on there house, closing in the garage, and filling in the driveway?

The house at 411 Waveland has some type of notice or permit posted on the front storm door.  I have not approached the house to read it because when I walk past I have the dog with me.  I'm presuming it's the permit.  If anyone who is not walking their dog at the time would like to check it out please feel free.

Hey everyone, Denise Stanco here.  VP of CGIA.  Yes, the recent minutes did in fact indicate that 'commercial vans' could not be parked in the neighborhood.  I was the one that called Code Enforcement to get (what I thought was) accurate information.  I then submitted that information to be printed in the flyer.  Then, the officers began calling Code Enforcement, Baltimore County Traffic Control, Zoning, Baltimore County Community Relations, etc.  It was then that CGIA was informed that I was originally given incorrect information.  Panel vans are allowed, even if they have a commercial logo on the side, if they are under 3/4 ton.  The police informed us that the B&B, the BFPE, the BGE, and the Alavez Painting vans all fall into this category. 

But, as far as the Alavez Painting vans are concerned, we proceeded to address this situation since we were informed by a homeowner at a recent meeting that Senior Alavez appears to be operating a commercial business out of his home.  The speaker stated the shed out back is full of 5 gallon buckets of paint.  CGIA is unaware at this time of the backyard full of supplies.  The president called the police.  They responded but I do not know the outcome.  I will contact Mary and get back to this post. 

As far as the 'more than one family' issue is concerned.  Baltimore County law states that any one detacted residence can not have more than two unrelated persons living in the same household.  I doubt if this is true.  I imagine they're all related but if anyone knows of a way for CGIA to find out the relationship of all individuals living in that house please let us know and we will address the issue.
