IREA - Board response

What is the HOA's Position

Ms.Louder,

Thanks for the information you passed on. However, I am interested in knowing what the HOA's position on this issue is and what action is taking place. I think it would be very helpful for the HOA to post the necessary contacts with the county,Cherry Creek Schools and with the IREA. Personally Village did an outstanding job laying out this community and it would be tragic to ruin this community's values, views and safety installing this substation in this location, especially given the wide amounts of open space in this area(outside the neighborhood. Count me as one to oppose this use.

I spoke to Mr. Schroeder yesterday and here is what he had to say about this substation. There is a line already there and the station will actually be have less of a eletro-magnetic fiel then we have currently. It will be on about 3 acres northeast of the track and kept to about 10 feet high with trees and other things to help conceal it from view. I still do not think that this is a good place for it and feel that we as homeowners should unite and fight to have it put somewhere else regardless of whether your property is adjacent to it or not. However, if it is true they can basically do what they want then I am not sure what we can do.
Your comments were stupid

First of all, this is how you spell the word "therefore"; secondly, it's "you couldn't care less"; and thirdly, it's you would "have stated", not would of stated. Maybe you need to go back to school to learn how to write. Your comments were just plain stupid.

Stop with the garbage talk on here. That person had a right to his/her opinion. Don't ruin the value of this site with your ignorance.
