To David and CVLEG

David, I forgot to thank you for your suggestion that letters be written to all the papers inviting open discussion. I truly think this would work to make us stronger. What do you think CVLEG? Anyone writing letters.

To Margaret

You have discovered the groundwork for this process and my involvement; in your message that the elected officials have a duty to listen to the electorate and act on those premises.

The advisory question on the feasibility study was a non-binding vote; because, in the past, our council has been faithful about returning the results of all major issues to the residents. As you now know two feasibility studies were completed; while the mayor, city manager, and two council were at state; we were informed of this and told to find a copy in the library. There were no public meetings, open forums or room for discussion offered by the council before the State Assembly approved the ballot measure. Than ward meetings were open for volunteers who wished to work on the ballot for passage. The entire democratic process was omitted.

To WW, Ann, CCACCC, Chris, all

The group. Are you still going strong? Sounds like you have had an exciting three or four days; and a lot of new ones on the board. GREAAAAAAAAAAAAAT job at the hearing, Chris, Linda, and everyone who worked on it. You will have to let me know where I can be of assistance; I am slightly disoriented when it comes to determining your progress to date.

WW and Ann: Always sensible and always kind; what can I say except that I am a very fortuate person to find a group such as this.

Is is a house of cards or a house of bricks? What is the vote?

CCACCC: Do you really live in Superior; glad to see Superior on this board; I kind of wondered; but was not sure. I agree with Jane; the worst blight is the lack of height limits at Interlocken. It is so disgusting; the Flatirons are history to concrete, glass, and steel. True ugliness for the sake of greed.

Welcome Home BrAnon

Wow, it's good to hear from you again. It's just not the same without you here. I hope all is well with your folks.

We've had some ups and downs here at the board. I guess it's made us all do some soul searching on issues of our own personal integrity. And that's good for us. It's interesting how these rifts can kind of stir things up and then everything looks different. I want my energies to result in something good, not something vendictive.

So you caught that BBW has left us. I was kind of getting attached to that wolf. But I guess we were probably running him ragged - he must have felt like putting a sign over his computer "Complaint Department". I agree with you that he was good for us. He gave me information that has helped me to let go of the jail issue a little more. And good leads on some other things i'm trying to learn about. Whoever he was, he's alright with me.

Bricks, bricks, bricks, I love bricks. Life is like building a house of bricks. Lessons are bricks, information is bricks, experiences are bricks... it all adds up to a home worth living in. So welcome back, my #1 mason.
