WW NW Pkwy

WW, I am going to be late to meeting, other obligations you know.

I am expecting a lot of attendance at the meeting. You will get another (jail was the first one) first hand glance at how BF officials say this is an open discussion to talk about your concerns. Be sure you attend the board meeting that follows, you will see how they handle your concerns, brushed under the table!

Then BF will make this a big deal years later and say, we held many public meetings to discuss these issues. Oh boy, where have we heard this before? Is BF afraid to but this matter to a vote of the people?

BBW response to hoodwinked? Yes, when you are in a position of authority it is easy to manipulate others to accept your statements because of your position. After all, you are an elected official and we are assuming you would be ethical about this!

Gee, I can think of many crooked politicians that hoodwinked entire countries, like Hitler!

Governor Owens is merely assigning a task force to help with the record keeping etc... for the county transition. The media and BF are just hamming it up to make it look like all the ducks are in order. It's just more propaganda and manipulation.

THIS IS AN AMENDMENT TO THE COLORADO STATE CONSTITUTION AFTER ALL, THAT IS WHY IT UPSETS ME SO MUCH THAT THESE BF OFFICIALS BELITTLED THE CREATION OF THIS COUNTY. THEIR CAMPAIGN SLOGAN, OH FEEL SORRY FOR US, WE NEED TO TAKE THIS TO THE STATE FOR A VOTE, IT'S JUST A QUIRK IN THE LAW!!! HA HA HA.

Gee, perhaps the Colorado taxpayers would like to have some disclosure about what it is costing them all ready to allocate manpower to help BF with their unfortunate circumstances, which by the way BF created in the first place.

To BBW Questions

Thank you for agreeing to answer my questions.

First: Please post your reaction to Berens, Stovall, and survellance at the library.

Second: Give 20 valid reasons why CVLEG will fail; with complete and valid reference material that you have challenged; both on this board and through you own research. These reasons do not include the jail or 62% vote. I am interested in more in-depth analysis; examples to follow.

1. The anonymous donor of $1mil to the City of BF announced by Bill Berens Mar 5; later revealed as Interlocken; and the complete formation of the NWP Project, a non-profit group. Why did City of BF offer 100,000; when the other two cities Lafayette, and Louisville did not make a donation? Why did BF have two representatives on the board; and Lafayette and Louisville, one? As we both know, time-wise this correlates with the city council decision to pursue a county.

2. Why the discussion over annexation when the council already determined the Poundstone Amendment would not apply to the County? Since this was decided very early in the process; the sriousness of this question was enough for Berens and DiCero to bring the amendment back to council without presenting it to state.

3. Please post all public notices; dates, times, references (Enterprise, Camera, Denver Post?) and discussions of study and proposed County amendment between Feb. 21 and March 12; complete with public input opportunites. In legislative session, Cooper claims over 200 meetings were held. You reference the meetings with CBLG as being valid; however, these took place AFTER the amendment was taken to the state legislature.

4. CBLG was formed, organized and led by city council members and paid staff members of the city.

5. Why were three lobbyists hired to work the senators and representatives; CBLG paperwork was filed by Council Person Larry Cooper, March 31. April 1 was presentation of the ballot issue by Berens, DiCero, Cooper, and Deland. During this entire process; was it revealed that CBLG was organized and formed by our city leaders? Why not take all the citizens to legislative hearings?

6. Why did CBLG open with $11,665 unidentified funds; was this money from the city and the city cannot support a ballot issue? If not from the city, why not make the donor public?

7. As you know the entire ballot question left no doubt in any person's mind that this is a question; not a vote for a county. Why, in all promotional materials produced and endorsed by CBLG leadership (Larry Cooper, and Hank Stovall, specifically); was the word "Consider" changed to "pursue"? This, in my mind, is definite mis-representation of the people of BF; why the outright lie?

I am not interested in petty discussion; I have given you the quality of topics that are meaningful to the formation of BF county. You have twenty reasons; I want to see your twenty reasons. A committment to answer questions is exactly that; a committment.
