Neighborhood Update 2000

Posted in: Kings Point
We again have seen many changes to the neighborhood this year. The county has finished installing the final few corner ramps at the intersections. The few cement crossings that were cracked and broken have also been replaced. The neighborhood is now in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act for the sidewalks.

The ''alleyway'' that actually is a county road (Old Colorado Blvd) that extends from Caley to Orchard and east of S. Harrison Drive continues to be a source of many complaints. I have been in constant contact with the Sheriffs departmant and various homeowners have been contacted and/or ticketed for litter and illegally parked vehicles. Thank you for reporting the violations to me in a prompt manner. I maintain a record of all the reports to the Sheriffs department. Additionally, I had a breakfast meeting with the undersheriff, J. Grayson Robinson, regarding the neighborhood complaints.
