The Neighborhood Master Plan calls for protection of the neighborhood from increasing numbers of increasingly faster cars. The Old North End Neighborhood Board and its Transportation Committee have been in contact with one of the world?’s foremost experts on Traffic Calming, and the Board is working with the city in order to have the designation of Nevada Avenue as state highway and as a major arterial removed.
