By the time I got to the meeting it was about over. I think that the lawyer (Pete?) and Connie our paid bookeeper want to run the show! The only borad person who has the interest of the taxpers is Mr. Adams! Why do we have a man on the board who owns no property in metex? I was told the lawyer has a contract showing that Terry Schooler? has had a contract to purchase property in metex for the last 16 years? What's up with that? Who lets a contract for 16 years and not purchase property? Very strange. Is it true that the bookeeper is the sister of Terry Schooler? Lets all be at the December 13th meeting for some ansdwers. I think we all were distracted by the Expressway vs Freeway developer's talk. Do we want to keep payinmg off the4 loans and bonds until 2016?

Sorry for the typos
I'm so darn mad about this waste of our money and the rubber stamp metex board, except for Mr. Adams. We have worked hard and saved to by this house and pay our fair share of taxes. The metex tax is not right or fair! I forgot to say I was told we have a board election in May 2002. I am considering running for a seat! Lets say 'goodbye-you are the wekest link' to those three board members who seem to favor developers.

''SHHH, Don't Tell'' seemed to be the message from the Board at the last METEX meeting. ''Don't tell anyone when the next meeting will be!'' (Don't tell anyone a straight answer.) Our answer to the Board should to be ''I'm bringing a friend to the next METEX meeting! Are You?'' I'm suggesting to all my neighbors to come and see what's going on. So much happened (and didn't happen) at the last meeting it is too difficult to recap the highlights. Bring a sandwich...it might be a long meeting on Thursday Sept 13, 5:30.
