Tailgating is a big problem in this town, especially on I-25 and more and more on Baptist Road.

It's nearly impossible to drive the speed limit going up and down Baptist Road at any given time of day...

As some of you know, I'm a musician and offen come home late at night on weekends after playing the local clubs. Last weekend, while driving up Baptist Road at 3 AM, I was tailgated all the way up to Tari Place (Pleasant View Estates). I couldn't believe it. Last week my wife was tailgated all the way down Baptist Road by a Fox Run Teenage driver. This driver was so close, my wife could not see her headlights in the rearview mirror. This is a serious problem.

I was the one who sent those pictures to the coalition. I was the lead car in the incident, which you cannot see. Image that there were two other cars in front of the Silver Honda Civic (lead vehicle in the pictures).

Tailgating - Signs

Richard,

Just wanted to let you know that I have asked DOT to put up a few deer crossing signs since I have spotted a few in the neighborhood crossing Baptist Road.

Not only do I hope this will help deer wondering around Fox Run, but also deter cars flying down Baptist Road and hopefully slow the speed of traffic altogether.

Only time will tell...
