It's that time of year again when those of us who live in the area
surrounding baseball Park must contend with inconsiderate and sometimes
law-breaking Little League fans. Inconsiderate baseball parents block
our driveways, parking in front of fire hydrants,
obstruct vision at stop signs, park less than six feet from an entrance
or exit of our driveways, blocking our view and making exiting our
driveways dangerous, not to mention lowering our property values. In
addition to these atrocities; they throw their
trash in our yards, sometimes trample our vegetation, toilet their
animals on our lawn and blow some kind of horn at eight o'clock in the
morning on Saturday.
These baseball revelers have made it impossible for me to invite people
to my own home as there is nowhere for them to park. Selling my home
from March through October is not an option as buyers are repulsed by
the situation and even if they dare to want to
look, there is nowhere for them to park. It is time that CHICA embraced
parking permits for the beleaguered home owners. The HOA also needs to
have parking enforcement in place. As long as CHICA shirks their duty,
I for one will be engaging the Sheriff daily
when these clods block drives, streets, stop signs and when they park
less than six feet from private drives; I am having them ticketed and
or towed. Please join me in getting these offenders ticketed when they

homeowners, then we need to do it ourselves. I have read in previous
newsletters that CHICA is concerned with parked vehicles lowering our
property values. Obviously that is only true if
you don't live around the baseball park.
