We have construction at 5672 Broadview Rd. which backs up to our residents on Eagle Head Dr. The Civic Association (which includes everyone getting our newsletter) met with Bob D'Andrea about the Townhouses that he is building. We set some limitations for him, and we will see that those are taken care of as long as we still have a Civic Association.
DO WE HAVE A CIVIC ASSOCIATION?
The response to our newsletters asking for community participation has been NIL. It is a bit discouraging to those of us who have been trying to keep this CA going. We just want to keep our neighborhood from going downhill(That is when people don't care anymore about what properties look like!) It takes people to care about the community. It takes participation. It takes ideas from YOU and help from YOU!!! Please come to the meeting Thursday Night, April 14th at the Donato's Pizza at 1391 Johnstown & Morse Rd.

More Construction

Bob D'Andrea wants to discuss purchasing the property at 5500 Broadview Rd. It was originally in contract with the initial developers of our neighborhood, but the contract expired and even though we were very happy with the Dehlendorf & Company and their plans for the property at 5500 Broadview Rd.; the owners of the property would not extend his contract. Now D'Andrea has expressed his interest in the property and will meet with this Thursday evening at Donato's Pizza at 7 pm at 1391 Johnstown & Morse Rd.
Does anyone on the property surrounding this care? Let's see who have the most support, Woodville Dr, Woodville Court or Panorama Dr.?

More Mud-More Traffic --!!!!

The older houses along Broadview Rd will all eventually come up for sale and so far all we have seen is more development. The land for these older homes were once considered rural Gahanna. Country roads are NO LONGER. The corn fields are disappearing and businesses, restaurants, and shopping malls, condos, and apartments are popping up all over. This just creates more mud and more traffic. Do you want to help make some decissions about these properties? Do you want to make sure that our Civic Association has some say in what will be built and where? We need to keep the Civic Association active in order to recieve information on new development. If the association goes under we could have apartment units surrounding us, creating more cars, traffic and deminishing our property values. Show your support and come to our meetings. Next meeting Thursday, April 14th at 7 pm at the Donato's Pizza at 1391 Johnstown and Morse.
