They Will Help

The County stated at the meeting that they attended that they would help, but that they would not write a plan for the Village.

It is a large undertaking to write an emergency prepardness plan. The Village does not have the expertise or the money to hire an outside consultant to help write the plan.

The County may have examples of other communities' plans and can offer help in putting one together, but their budget would prevent them from writing the plan.

The Mayor can call the county, but I do not know who in the Village Government would be able to write the plan.
