To Protect and Serve..themselves

Once again, Valleyview's finest shows what they are made of.

We all know about the theft of the bleachers from the YMCA; the thieves are suspected of WALKING off with the bleachers! I have to ask myself if our officers missed this because they were busy with duties from other jobs? We are now ''protected'' by individuals who defraud their employers. This is THEFT folks! This may be a ''civil'' complaint but it appears they were found at fault. The next time your house is burglarized, check the intruder for a BADGE!

From Another Bulletin Board?

Anything from a news agency or court records? All I see is someone's personal opinion placed on a open bulletin board.

That was done on this site in the past. Someone wants to throw blame around or bring up something that is unrelated to the Village and try and make the ends meet.

I do not see it. I will reserve my judgement until I see something in a newspaper or court records.

I am afraid that we all do not know about the bleachers from the Y. Do you mean the Y that is in the City of Columbus jurisdiction? I would have to say that would look a little obivous walking down the street. Most likely ended up a scrap yard for money. Good thing the scrap yards don't ask questions when someone shows up with some bleachers.
Worth looking at anyway

You state you will reserve your judgement until you ''see something in a newspaper or court records''-- hey, I think it is a great idea for someone to check the records. Considering this is a civil suit, this issue is not likely to be publicized. This isn't about ''throwing things around'' or ''making ends meet''. If you came across your (hypothetical) new neighbor's name as a suspect, would you wait for the media or other sources to bring you the proof-- or would you look for it yourself? (Didn't most of John Wayne Gacy's neighbors think he was a great guy? Extreme, I know but it makes a point.) The claims have been brought to the council's attention and what is done with it, is up to them.
As for the Y bleachers, this came from Channel 4 news:
''Police said the theft occurred at the YMCA facility on Valleyview Drive sometime between the weekend and Tuesday, NBC 4 reported.'' ''Investigators said there were no visible signs of tire marks and that no one in the area saw anything suspicious. The program director said they think someone must have carried them into the woods and over the railroad tracks.''
This may fall under CPD's jursidiction, but it was on Valleyview Drive. I agree it would be ''obvious'' to see someone carting off bleachers-- not to mention the noise involved. This was my point, exactly. I don't imagine this could take place on foot with any kind of speed, so I wondered why ''no one in the area saw anything suspicious''. It isn't as if our officers patrol a vast metropolis . . . I've even passed the cruiser myself to see the officer inside obviously sleeping (head back, eyes closed and mouth hanging open) in the wee morning hours.
Look, I admire the people who are willing to lay their life on the line to save mine & I know some great cops (and some of them on our force). When the public keeps pointing out rude, racist and other questionable behaviors, I don't think it should be ignored.
Up To Old Tricks !!!!!

I hope the same offcers aren't there who were when I lived there.

John Chapman told me, no one will believe or back you up. They didn't check into anything and council wouldn't either.

Anyone reading this site know who Parrish is talking about when he said,''Someone wants to throw blame around or bring up something that is un-related the the Village and try to make ends meet.'' Everything I ever brought up related to officials in Valleyview.

They wouldn't insist there be a complete audit to see where the money went that Watkins said I stole. Parrish didn't either. Parrish has no right to ''judge'' anyone, aftering backing the worst for mayor. I was the only one who checked into Watkins ''past '' employment. It was a eye opener. They say ''birds of a feather flock together.''

Mark Consolo deleted the harddrive on the laptop when he knew he was fired. It was supposed to be for police busness. Was did Mark have he wanted no one to see?

They were drugs and guns in evidence. What happened to them?

Raylene Grave lied in the insurance claim from the flooding in front of Parrish and several residences. This is also fraud. They would not back me with the State.

Police officers had contest to see who could write the most tickets. I heard them argue when the magistrate dis-missed a case because they screwed up writing a ticket.

Even though the YMCA and the school are Columbus, it never bothered even Mark to go to the school and then call Columbus, ''when he wasn't nosing around in other parts of town.'' One officer was so bored he heard a call from the city for Front and High, he beat them there. Another officer made it out around Target before city or county. My house was broken into and the police knew who did it, but did nothing.

As everyone knows, the only reason people want jobs in Valleyview is because no other agency will take them.
