Get The Facts Straight

Wow, Ms. White under what authority did the mayor have in giving you the OK? As you state in your own post the COUNCIL had to approve it. The Mayor had no authority to give the ok and during the meeting which the Council bailed you out by voting to approve the $80, the Mayor stated that she NEVER gave you the authority and that she did not tell the stripping company to paint the Village Hall parking lot. If the Council had not approved it you would have misappropriated funds.

Also, nice dodge on my other claim how you violated the ethics laws.

Talk about checking, I had to choose between three candidates for Mayor; Tom Watkins, Jack Morgan and you Ms. White. Let me think about who would do less harm to the Village......seems like it is an easy choice. Not You and not Jack Morgan. You can only choose from the choices you were given. I belive the residents made the best choice from the options they were given.

The State did perform a preliminary audit based on a request from the Mayor on her way out the door. She could have made the request at any time, but waited until her last month in office. That shows you the type of person that she was, instead of calling for one earlier and dealing with the issues, she wrote her letter, left office and left it for the new council and mayor to deal with, which we did and the special audit was cancelled.

Give all of the facts Ms. White, not what you want to selectively give.
whoop-to-do

Mr. Parrish, council has to ok a ''complete audit'' not the mayor. Where is your letter from Betty Montgomery stating council had to approve the audit?

Betty Montgomery said ''council must approve the special audit.'' You said it yourself, ''we cancelled it.'' You didn't know what happened to the Village money that wasn't there before the 2000 election. Why didn't you want to know?

Sure Raylene lied when she said I didn't ask about the lines. You said yourself what kind of person she is. You also lied when you said you didn't hear when she said some of the things listed on the insurance claim didn't happen during the flood. This is fraud!

You said it yourself, if council hadn't approved the $80.00 expendure I could have been charged with mis-appropriation of funds. It didn't happen because they understood the need.

You are so concerned about $80.00, why weren't you concerned with the money that DIDN''T pay into the pension funds, IRS, Workman's Comp, utility bills, cruiser repairs, etc.? This had been going on for years with Russolillo and his sister-in-law Laura Hunt.

I will repeat this again, You didn't check into Watkins' background and work history before you supported him and starting bad mouthing me, so live with the corruption in Valleyview.

I will call Carol Luper Monday and tell her to give my information to Turner's attorney. We will see how much money is owed back to the people who have gotten tickets. I will also tell her about Pomeroy and Russolillo and about the police department.

I will also tell her what Watkins' ex-employers told me about the honest mayor of Valleyview. I should have played the tape at council at the time. But I thought Watkins would resign before letting people know about his former work habits.

You will see how fast Valleyview is part of Columbus.
