HOA give them power!

If you blame the HOA and the trustees for entrances that may not be to your likeing, then give them the power to fine the people who live here who's property makes the entrances look like the most beautiful gardens in the world.

Come on! All for one and one for all. We all agree there are things that bring down our subdivision. You can't select one issue and not look at the overall picture.

Previous post suggest people in dire strates who don't take care of their property. What about the weeds in the yard at the north west corner of Waynebrown and Big Bear??? This person needs to get a clue, as does a few neighbors around them. Judging by the cars they drive I don't think money is the issue.

My Point: Don't blame the HOA for one thing, and then limit their ability overall. I truly believe the HOA has their hands tied by those who don't care.

What is wrong with people taking care of their ''common grounds'' I do think a committee is the right way to go. Go to the next meeting and make this an issue. Don't just write here and complain.

You say they, why not say I will form a committee. Call the trustees and make it happen. Who's feelings are going to be hurt?? There is a small group of people that goes to the meetings. Most could care less. It is the people that care who can make a difference.

I have to believe that the HOA puts every dollar they can into maintaining this subdivision. Sometimes it does take more than what they can do.

Ok..I'll say it - ''You'' form a committee! I could care less who forms the committee! I just read comments about spending HOA money to hire someone from the outside to maintain the entrance. If the original poster cares so much (or some of the other posters) then form a committee, ask for voluteers and get to work!

It's Our money..Not HOA money

It's the homeowners money and right now were paying $250/year on:

1. cutting grass under powerlines that no one utilizes
2. Pond maintenance for what? fountains that don't work.
3. Fences. some painted some, some not....
