I received my real estate appraisal in the mail yesterday. Our house values have obviously gone up as everybody was hoping. This was a pretty large increase. Everybody should be happy today.

Why ? Unless you plan on selling soon. And even then , all the other properties are going up too. The only thing it means is, your taxes are going up.
