I'm wondering if anyone has had issues with their windows in their M/I homes? We built our house 5 yrs ago and have had 2 seals on our windows break causing mold to develop on the inside of the panes. We also have bad air leaks. Since our warranty is expired we incur a service charge to have them come out to fix this problem each time. I think the quality of these windows are horrible considering the house is only 5 yrs old. If anyone else has had issues with their windows, I would like to hear about your experience. Maybe we'd be more effective working together. Thank you.

I do not own an M/I but a Dominion. I have noticed the same issue on our house in a bathroom and a bedroom window where condensation gathers. This does not help you being it is not M/I but our house is only 8 yrs old and we obviously have a problem too.

I live in a Dominion and found out that our windows had 6 year warranties directly from the manufacturer. I contacted the manufacturer directly, gave them my window size, I picked the window up and installed it myself. It was actually a very easy job. The manufacturer would have also swapped the window out for a minimal fee for me. Call the manufacturer directly. You are probably still under warranty with them.
