We need a playground

Don't blame MI but Planned Communities. They were the developer.

Those who have lived here for 8 years may also want to blame themselves for not making demands when the subdivision was first built.

We Can't do anything about it now, but can only look forward to what we can do in the future.

That's true to a certain extent, but the bottom line is we had some over zealous homeowners that wanted control of the HOA and in their rush to take control didn't make any demands of planned communities. Now, we just have to bite the bullet and move on.
Is that a fact?

Before you cast blame do you have facts to back what your saying? It is a fact that control did not go to the HOA until the majority of the lots were sold and built on in the subdivision.

You made pretty bold statement. Can you provide facts to back it up?

Who was it that took control and how did they do it?
It is indeed a fact !

I wouldn't have said it, if it wasn't a fact. Do a little research and you will be surprised at what you might find. I'm not disputing the fact, that the majority of the lots were sold, but to jump in without doing a little homework, wound up costing all of us. We weren't obligated to take control at that particular time.
