What are we REALLY talking about

What are we really talking about???? It's only $50.00 a year! Not $50.00 a month! That's only...$4.16 a month! That's nothing compared to most neigborhoods!! If you don't like it, then think of it as charity...for a ggod cause that is! I understand you're not wanting to pay for someone else grass to be cut but then again the HOA did push to have our neigborhood park built, which by the way I think is an excellent addition to our neigborhood! Come on, it's only 4.16 a month!!! I think for under 5 bucks a month I would want to help our neigborhood look a little bit nicer, but that's just me.

Chris McGee

As is typical with Chris he has some of his facts correct but not all of them. If Chris is interested in what the HOA does, he is welcome to attend any community or monthly board meeting. He could also volunteer to become a member of any of the many committees we have up and running in this Association. If he is interested in changing the deed restrictions, there are legal steps to address this. This does require 100% of the homeowners' in this association to be in agreement with Chirs on whatever deed restriction he would like changed. Thus far, Chris has not taken the time to attend more than one community meeting, it is much more convenient for him to spew negativity via the forum than to actually be part of the solution. Chris' suggestions have been taken under advisement by the Board. We have listened to his concerns but Chris doesn't like it when the HOA doesn't bow down to his demands. Perhaps if Chris were to attend a meeting and voice his concerns in an appropriate manner he might receive a more positive response to his concerns. He might even find out what positive things are happening in his community. I, for one, am very proud of the work the Board has done and continues to do. I am also honored to have so many wonderful volunteers who step forward and help improve our community. These people should be commended for being part of the solution. I think our community looks better than it has in a long time and we are having more activities on a more regular basis. Communication to homeowners' has improved and people are welcomed with a nice packet of information on the HOA and the community at large. These are just a few of the things the HOA does.
Spewing negativity on the forum does more harm than good. The Board is always willing to hear a homeowners' concerns but there is a process for addressing these concerns to the Board.
Sincerely,

Well Pam. That is what this forum is for. As far as bowing down to me, what for? I have no gain in this. The stuff I quote you to and the rest of the homeowners is Law. Not opinion. Titles 45, 33, and 7 of the City Charter. Yes, I did attend some meetings. I have even met with the reps of the HOA before. Obviously before you came aboard. But you neglected to state that. I even tried to help you if you recall. Did you mention that also. Nope. So bash away all you want. I just think it's funny when you say that I am misinformed when that's my job to enforce this stuff. When I work with legitimate HOA's.

So, I will say again Pam, if you have any questions you can call me. I'm sure you still have my number.
