Neighbors have alerted the Commodore Estates II Community Board about new safety concerns in our development that have occurred recently.
On Sunday, October 16, 2011, a neighbor at 144 Bakerfield Drive reported a knock on one of the windows of her sunroom porch around 8 p.m. This room has no curtains and backs to the wooded area behind the house. When she
went to take a look, no one was there. She contacted her husband to see if it might have been him. Unfortunately, he stated it was not him and that she should remain in the house.
On Halloween, October 31, 2011, our neighbor had someone rattle the storm door with such force as to break it. She did not see the perpetrator. Neither incident was reported to the local authorities.
Please advise all neighbors to keep doors and windows locked at all times. Any suspicious activity should be reported to the authorities immediately.
