The homeowners, tenants, and their kids got together for the first time this year and created a community garden. Corn, strawberries, onions, tomatoes, basil, different kinds of peppers, carrots, and chives were planted. Our first Corn Roast will be held in the fall if all goes well. The corn stalks are already about a foot high.

The corn stalks sprouted baby corn a copule of weeks ago! The onions and carrots did not make it, but the watermelon, cantaloupe, and strawberries are doing fine. The tomatoes are bursting at the seams, and luckily so because you can't buy them in the stores now. This has been a great blessing for all that live here. |
