As crappy as the weather has been, walking over to the pool only to find out it is closed because of an investigation from an indicent that happened in the bathroom is very upsetting me and my family.
I tried to contact the President and Vice President with my concerns as well.
How in the world is this even remotely justified? There are other options to monitor the pool area but closing it is not an option when we pay dues for the pool. If this is some attempt to punish the homeowners in an attempt for someone to come forward, that is crap. Have an emergency meeting or something. Get pool monitors. Give some of the speeding teenagers that race through the neighborhood something to do. How about a camera? Use the money that we pay the landscapers to cut the common area, since they don't behind the houses, and buy a camera. It's hot and now I have got to PAY to go to a public pool for my family because we are investigating an occurrence? Really? Is something wrong with the pool water? Is the structure suffering fromor damage? That should be two of the reasons why our pool should be closed. Anything else, a meeting should have been held.
