homeowners association

Posted in: Sienna Park

I have been very frustrated with our HOA. I have been trying to contact them for about 2 months now, and have not had a single call back. I currently haven't paid my dues for this year, but am trying to work something out with them since my husband was recently laid off. I have left several messages with the president of Sunset Vista, but I guess she is too busy to contact anyone that is not a priority to her. Does she not have assistants that give a care either? What type of organization is this?? It's funny to me how they are so quick to send us letters to get a payment, yet, I want to know where is all of our money going to? Our neighborhood still looks crappy, our "so called park" is just a trail of weeds and dirt, there was even a house down my street that was abandoned by some "crack heads" for 2 weeks straight that never received any attention. All of thir belongings were set out on the front yard, their garage was graffiti central, and no one seemed to care about this(mind you this house is about 10 houses into our main entrance). What a way to display our neighborhood! Does anyone else feel my frustrations? I don't mind paying my dues as long as I know my money is going to improve the neighborhood I have lived in for the past 5 years. I am buying my house, not renting, so I would love to see our neighborhood improve with a better park, more street lights, and even speed bumps since no one ever obeys the 30mph limit posted everywhere. And please, please, clean up our "abandoned houses" promptly. This was soo embarrasing to live by. I want to be proud of where I stay, but as of yet, I have no reason to be.

I know I am getting back to you months later, but I feel your frustration when it comes to our community and how it looks. I sure hope you have been able to talk to the HOA by now. For future reference, you can send them an email directly by going to:

Your comment is appreciated, but I believe you want the HOA to hear what you have to say. I, myself, agree with you and have contacted them as well, but it takes more people to voice their opinion before we see any changes take place. Please use the link provided to send your complaint to ProComm or just call or go in person to:

im in the same situation i been getting in touch with my attorney I'm not to happy with the new 25 dollar how keeps that profit if the association has graffiti everywhere like you said i request for speed bumps an never had a answer from them but is easier for them to complain for a vehicle that i don't use with current tags they still want me to move it or they go in to charge me 25 dollars for the violation i got in touch with the media troubleshooters and the are very interested on the complains that we have put some of you're complains together and ask your neighbors for complains and ill keep you posted wen are they coming to investigate this matter is about time we stop this this is our homes and they have to treat people as homeowners last time i saw a board member property and i have pics she had a boat and a trailer park in her property for several days and nobody said anyting  they not suppose to have preferences for managers or board member's im the general manager one one of the finest and older HOA and i know how this works
